LOL I love that girl, she is such a hoot. I swear she would let me take anything in the house, including her for a ride. She is a good girl and loves her mama.

Debi, she sure is aptly named...Precious is just that but I can tell you from firsthand experience...her other side is indeed dark and dangerous. Before Sarah moved from my road north, I went to feed the horses for her one evening last summer and I had DH with me...Precious was so happy to see my truck and then HE started walking up to the gate....ummm NO she was having none of that. she stood on the other side of the gate, showing extreme intent to eat his if he crossed that barrier. I hear "HONEY...think you better open the gate".

she let me open the gate, get back in my truck and drive through....she came with me to feed the horses and when he got out of the truck...she shadowed him until he was back in the truck. Poor girl...everything told her to bite the stranger but the stranger was with the nice LadyHawk so should she bite him? Maybe just a nip? Maybe remove a leg? Maybe get scratched and loved on? Maybe...?

So after that, I have never put Precious in a position that would make her uncomfortable and she is always happy to see Cheyenne and I.

Horses have really, really good memories. REALLY good memories. Someone who was male at one time did something to that horse to make it act that way. Horses NEVER forget.

Oh no no...The Rottie is named Precious. LOL She is the one who wanted to eat my DH. The horses could care less as long as he had food in his hands. hahahaha

Well hell in a handbasket!!! LOL! Rotties are pretty much one person dogs usually. It is great that she lets you and Cheyenne close to her. And from what I have seen of your DH she may have the right idea.
