Since none of you live near me, I'm taking a curiosity poll: What do plumbing and heating contractors in your area charge per hour? Or do they charge flat rate, like a mechanic?

Most general matienance contractors charge around $45 an hour. Specialty contractors (like my DH) go for about $90 an hour.
