I don't really need Fundip. I need to go to the store however, so I will be stocking up. Which means Stephy, Annika and I will sit around disgusting the rest of the family by enjoying the overly sugary goodness.

Ok, then can you cut up the rugs so they aren't so hard to move?

Most are really, really high-end rugs, and cant be cut apart because of stitching. We garage sale every Saturday after swim lessons. If I go a mile East of my house, I hit Paradise Valley, which is where all the richy-rich people live in Phoenix. Another 2 miles is Scottsdale.

When those folks garage sale, they either think their crap is worth WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than it is (But I paid 1200 for this at Costco a year ago!) or they have enough money they just want it gone. $1 for a 5'X7' rug? I will take it!!!


I have 3 rugs that were more than nice enough to use inside, but too large for any room in the house.

Anywhoo, I was just complaining.

Shane says he is getting us a huuuuuuge short-nap rug from the lady who gave us the piano last week. I guess she is moving offices, and has to tear out the 2-year-old carpet from her scottsdale office. Part of their office lease to strip the floors.

It should be large ehough to cover the entire 14' by 70' space under the porch, (in peices, of course).

Speaking of garage sale-ing: I hit the JACKPOT on Saturday.

There was a dog rescue in the fancy-smanchy part of residential Scottsdale. I am betting their neighbors complained.

ANywhoo, they had TONS AND TONS of donated items they were dumping.

-I got brand-new animal carrier (cat-sized, for transporting chicks) for $3.
- 3 large stainless steel dog bowls with the rubberized bottoms for $.25 apiece.
- a 4'-high expando-kennel (20 feet long?) for $10.
- a kennel shade cover frame and tarping for $5 (will cover a 4' by 10' kennel, but can be broken in two)
- A front-loading feed tub (1 50lb bag of dog food) for $1
-A screen-type pool fence, 5' high, for $10.


...Shane bought stuff too, but I don't remember what.

What about blowing them off with compressed air rather than rinsing them with the hose? Dried poo should fly right off.

Yeah, but I can move the 10' by 20' pieces, if I have too. I just dont WANT to. Besides, I really only need to wash the portions right in front of the back door, where all the traffic is. The rest can get washed every other time or longer.

The Tobe is doing a little better. Has at least stop pooping violently. He has been snoring like a CHAMP.

Check out ma chicks. There are 10 now. Still another 17 eggs under broodies (ugh).
