Gigantor did the least graceful flopping/lunging maneuver to launch herself up to the 2nd tier of the roost (only about a foot off the ground). Sounded like she crashed and thrashed into the wall in the process, but I didn't see it happen. My Millie hen, who resides on the top rung of the roost, was so freaked out she screamed like a little girl for 15 minutes.
