And the other two Cotton adopted babies are the ones that go broody in the rafters. I caught them now and put them in the chicken pen now. For 3 or 4 nights now. Everyone was really upset, they are settling down a bit now, but Cotton's first baby keeps attacking them, is she jealous they stole her mama?
Oh wait, now I don't remember, did Cotton raise those two or did I?
Yikes, what a grammie memory I have. Cuz Pecky is the one Cotton hatched, and Picky got peckied, and it may have been Rhodie that did it, I caught her eating eggs. Or it could of been Poof Face, but maybe it was Cotton's baby, since she is the one doing the attacking of the other two.
Tree Chick is the only one that is still out. She still sleeps in the rafters. Still jumps on pony sometimes to get up there, if I've fed pony at the time she is going to bed.
I did have her trapped for a few days, but she wants out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, I let her out.
Oh, and the other two I just put in there, they were eating out of my hand twice now. They're kind of wild.
But now that I put them in the pen, they may be mad at me and never eat out of my hand again. DH caught them when they were sleeping, now when I was hand feeding them.
