Okay I walked right into that one, Buff! LOL. I am so ready to move to the farm so I can add to my flock. I'm thinking of a separate coop for some EE's for colorful eggs.

MOrning all---just finished putting in a third garden. Being unemployed is allowing me to reclaim my yard from the man junk, one 15' by 15' plot at a time.

Today's garden: beans, Beans, and MORE BEANS!!

Bush beans, that is. I had some really cool beans that are shiny black and white, and look like ying and yang symbols; complete with dots.

I did put some corn on the West side of the little plot, to help shade the other plants. I think we put in some old gourd seeds and pumpkin seeds too.

FYI: I hate digging through caliche.

Basically, I just pick 'em up by one foot and swing them around until they get dizzy.

I prefer swinging them by their wings, teaches 'em to fly a little better.

Laree! Beans beans beans. I got 3 green beans off my plants yesterday. Yay me and my slacker garden!

I have egg gourd seeds if anyone wants some. They are a few years old, I got them from CaroleAM here on BYC. They were so fun to have wind around my tomato plant supports, it looked there were eggs growing among my tomatos.

Want some? I could stick some in soil tonight and see if they still sprout despite their age. They really are cute, exactly the same size and look as white eggs. I had them on my fireplace mantle all Autumn.

That would be wonderful! Do you want me to send you a self addressed stamped envelope?
