This is her first litter with me, but not her first litter overall. She is an older doe in a flashy color, I expect she has had lots of babies. However, she is very territorial. Always has been. I want to take it out and look at it! Grrrrr......

We have had such EXTREME heat, I wonder if that contributed to the issues. I should have moved her inside sooner. I am going to move the next two does inside at least a week in advance.

Our does aren't pissy with us, plus they think a good litter size is 10 - 12 kits, so 1 or 2 are just not thriving, I pull them, foster off or do a cervical dislocation and throw to the chickens.

Earlier today I made cole slaw. Then my cabbage soup, and now I just ate sauerkraut, I must be craving cabbage,

Now, I gotta go try my soup. Its done now.

Sweet sophia's skip the hazelnut ones, it's too sweet, even for my taste, but the peanutbutter is made in house, and is the perfect level of saltiness to stand up to the chocolate.

OMG Saddina, you are evil, evil I tell ya. I want one of each. I'm hallucinating the smell of chocolate and peanut butter now. I bet I have some weird dreams tonight!

Good goly I'm a wimp! I admit it! I am a wimp...I thought I was saving a honey bee in the pool the other day...I wasn't wearing my glasses...I saved that gosh darn fly that kept biting me! I'm used to dark colored horse flies that bite but this was gold colored...tricky lil jerk!

We have had extreme heat here too, but the kits are doing fine, better than the adults are. Hey, do have any information about weaning? I heard 3 weeks somewhere.....
