I'd like to watch the above from the top of a camper.

Either DH will get 'em with his rifle, or heck, the aliens can have my brain. It's pretty much useless scrambled junk.

I hate people right now. And my kids won't go to sleep.

There is a newbie whose birds have lice. I tried to explain that if one has them, they all do. She insists that is not the case. She also thinks her coops are clear. mmmhmmm.

I have started just dumping the sevin by the can into the coop. Clean the coop, dump entire can of sevin in there, throw shavings on top.

I've also started using the Ivomec pour on. Only used it on the mottled flock so far. Will be using it on the big flock eventually too. Now would be a good time I guess.

I just did the ivomec last night. And I have tubs of sand/DE/sevin dust for them to bathe in in various parts of the coop and run. I regularly till & dust the coop---but with all the rat birds, we still get mites and lice this time of year.

I just use Ivomec. I can't bring myself to use Sevin with Bhopar. Stupid, I know.

Bhopar?

I actually use poultry dust---I am allergic to insecticides, but the poultry dust does not bother me.

Same here.....surrounded by trees and grass and bushes and wildlife. Only so much I can do! I don't notice them in the main coop or birds, but my mottled flock (who has their own coop/pen) has always had issues with them off and on, hence the sevin and ivomec both.
