I had a used back-pack electric pump. It was sterilized within an inch of it;s life. I gave it to my childhood friend when I found out she was expecting---but not until I had sterilzed it even more, and gave her all the sterilizing bags I had.

I actually have nothing against used pumps that have been sterilized within an inch of their lives, like the electric one my cousin lent me. But when they smell like sour milk....

The kind i used was a bailey's so you just ordered a new $20 pump pack, new tubes, horns and filters. The motor never touched the milk, so that was clean.

I've loaned my sisters my really nice double-electric pump when they had babies, but it was clean.
