lol now you know why i left supplies for more batches. The melon scent and dye is all set, if you want to swirl that one, pull out a little of the soap when it's mixed, before you add the dye/scent (it'll cure the natrual cream color), add the pink & scent to the main batch, then swirl the unscented on the top to make your swirls.

This is the supplier I use for oils:

When you read reviews, you want to pay attention to the "in cold processed soap" or "C/P" many scents are too delicate to manage the lye processing. There's a $30 min order, but the shipping's free, and $30 is alot of scent oils and dye.

I need to ask Dad if the reason I know what a T square is is the reason he lets me use the power tools. Mom just touches them and Dad does what Mom wanted done in the first place.

Good morning.

I have not seen alfalfa/timothy cubes, but alfalfa cubes are in the feed stores. But I haven't ever looked for the mix ones.
My bunny gets the rabbit pellets, and forage hay, because that is the kind of hay pony eats. If they are out of forage, I buy oat hay. I can go to the other feed store and get the grass hays, but the price has really gone up on that. Bunny also get carrots and apples often, and whatever else I chop up in the kitchen. Lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, strawberries, just whatever. I have given them alfalfa on occasion, but not since I've had pony, cuz I don't feed him that. I have treats for the pony that I sometimes give bunny. Some kind of sweet treat thingy, I forget what they are called right now.

When I was on bedrest I read books and did a lot of those find a word puzzles.

I know what a t square is, DH has them. You can use smaller ones for drawing, too. When drafting ws done on paper, not computer.

Maybe I should learn to make soap, is it hard?

I was really wiped out after work yesterday, and the students weren't even there yet, just cleaning and putting away supplies, setting up computer. Oh my, and today is the first day of school. I guess all my exercising and walking and strength building didn't help much. ugh

This morning I am stretching and walking and doing my low back acute pain exercises.

Oh, the kinders, I will get to see all the kinders today! And teach them how to get their lunch, and select their name in the computer!!
And go to the garden bar. Some will be scared, some will have done it already as preschoolers. And it will be very hard for me to know what they are saying their names are!
Fun, fun, fun!

You all sure were up late.

Good morning! Looks like it might rain here today. We shall see.

Morning boo. Soap making is no harder than baking. Follow the directions and you have it. Scenting and coloring keep it interesting. I must say, I love using home made soap and lotion. My skin loves it too.

Ah, I see my child was more herself last night. Good.

For bunnies - the meaties, the does and kits get alfalfa/grass hay mix free choice and alfalfa blocks, and the buck gets grass hay free choice and alfalfa blocks. Plus any various sorts of treats. Bun-Bun gets grass hay free choice, timothy pellets and a lot of veggies. Most of his diet is hay and veggies. The vet said that was better for the lops, and since the hateful rabbit is now 11, the diet works.

I have Up! here now to watch without trying to get a child to behave or stopping to do something. I'll see how I like it when I get to watch it somewhat uninterrupted. I can crochet, it's just not always pretty. I can make a square or rectangle.

Charlotte is right. DH doesn't want to build whatever, I say ok, let it go a few days, then go start touching the various tools. He gets twitchy, then runs in to stop me and builds what I want in the first place. Charlotte on the other hand goes I'm building this and I'm using this, he says fine, gets a chair out in the shade and drinks beer while "supervising". But she likes to build things. I on the other hand only build children, not various structures that need to stay together more than an hour or so. Which is why DH doesn't like me messing around with things like the power saw because I am liable to cut my hand off instead of building whatever. But I have to wait a few days or he knows what I'm up to, and won't stop me. Which is why if I want something right away, I tell the kids they have X amount of money to build whatever, they get the rest. DFS, Matt and Charlotte build me meatie tractors for nearly nothing in about 8 hours. Half of that was finding recycled materials so they got the money.

Yes, my child is up too late playing on my smart phone. Oh well, she'll be the one tired at school, so I'm not going to say anything.
