So...someone left the freezer open again

*COUGHSHANER*

The 50lbs of bananas I put up last week defrosted, as well as the 16 cups of pumpkin puree. ....I just started baking, and baking and baking, but have already had to go to the store for baking soda.

In one batch of banana cake, I forgot the baking soda.

In one batch, I forgot the eggs.

In this last batch, I dropped turkey eggshells into the batter.

*sigh* I am moving onto pumpkin cookies next.

Laree... you're highly entertaining today and last night and the days and nights before and....

Thanks everyone for the carpet suggestions. I don't know when but she said she was coming today so I can't really go anywhere. I keep spraying that enzyme spray...stupid 15 dollars down the drain.

bows...I found it this summer at one of my favorite antique shops in the little town over...It was something like $60 if I remember correctly. Is that justifiable? Probably not but certain things tug at my heart strings too and I've been wanting one...and they had it marked as a wash bin but I was certain it was for butter...one of these days I'll look up the writing that's on it and google it.

Dear Jerkwad Old Man Driving Through a School Zone,

If a pleasant-looking mommy in an apron, who smells like banana bread and is herding small children out of a dirty blue minivan gives you the double bird and happens to yell the phrase, "Eff you, you effink effer!"---

---then you need to re-evaluate your driving choices.

I carry golfballs to throw at speeders,

I am a self appointed taste tester in good standing with "myself" of course. I'll be right over. Sounds like you could use my professional service. I have the same issue with coughdh and the backyard gate. Our two shepherds keep getting out and the dog catcher has already told me I'm getting a $400 fine the next time it happens. The dogs are big and black and scary looking when they are showing their teeth and the neighborhood (nosey) lady swears she is scared of them.

Ms Deb, vitamin C and lots of it. I could explain in length but trust me, take 1000 mg every hour or so. It will kill the pain AND help speed the recovery. My chiro told me this when I had my wisdom teeth out a loooooong time - uh, I mean, uh.... a little while back

Not only did I not take a single pain pill but I went camping cause I had taken time off to recover and I was bored silly. I take 1000/hr the day of oral procedures and then 1000/2 hours the next day, 1000/3 hours the next and so on... If I know the procedure is coming I load up the days before too.

Good luck!

I'm going to try this. My head still hurts from the pain meds.

gosh darn laree... you're just full of piss and vinegar today....you're MY kind of lady. Where's buffy so she can tell you what a fine job you're doing being so firey?

I got me some anger issues.

My ankle is pretty good, actually. I have teeny feet, and spent much of my youth with sprained ankles. SO: I generally know how to fall. As soon as it started to roll, I relaxed so the whole leg took the owie rather than just the ankle. It is stiff up to ~halfway up my the side of my calf. The foot has almost no tenderness, and the ankle itself is stiff but not throbbing. Minor swelling, only above the ankle bone. It only hurts if I sit down too long.

===>Housecleaning first, then write some Henway posts.
