The current project is making new christmas stockings for kids who lost thiers in the tornados this year. I do a few of thier projects each year, as time allows. There's no pressure and important to me, the items aren't distributed thru a particuliar church. Since this year we're doing some home-ec stuff with evan (he already cooks and cleans at 11, this year is sewing and mending, and he's going to get free reign with my embroidery/sewing combo machine), he'll be in charge of designing and sewing some. for younger kids helping to pick out fabrics and trims would be fun, and they can understand helping out a child get a good christmas.
