Now I can climb the ladder and stand and look into the attic.
But jeepers, i have not actually gone into the attic in forever.
How the heck do i get through that hole?
And there is no flooring in there, so you gotta walk on the 2x4's and not fall through the ceiling.
I dd get the light plugged in though, so it is light up there now.
I don't wanna be a grammie stuck in the attic!

Think I'll eat some mac and cheese now while I am waiting for the chicken to get done.

good idea, I just invited him over for dinner, then he'll see my ladder and extension cord and light on in attic.
DH does not let me go up there, that's why its been in forever.
but he's not home, so I can sneak up there!!
But, I will wait for son, cuz I have nearly 500 kids to feed tomorrow.

It really needs a cleaning up there.
And I can see a couple of empty cans that could be what I heard rolling around.
and the scratching running across something noise, yep plenty of stuff up there to be making those noises.

But, i think it may just be a rat, still, rats are bigger than mice!
