I did! Didn't I comment? I thought I did, but my mind is going... Anyway, I really, really like it! And it's not a tramp stamp, even better.

I also thought the birds were a very nice touch!

I like simple, elegant tattoos like that one.

I have a question. Why do people get so upset when their children are no longer "babies"? Why would you want a baby forever? Isn't the whole point of taking care of babies properly so they can grow into children, and then into adults?

I think I must be missing something fairly obvious here. Is it because the child obviously growing means the parent is getting older? Or is it just because, while I loved my children as babies, they were so very, very demanding that I was delighted when they could start to do things for themselves?

Maybe the answer is that I'm a weirdo.

Not that it would come as a huge surprise...

Seriously, there's a select few children I really like - the polite, kind, non-sticky ones - the rest I could do without.

Oh, speaking of not liking my children. Yesterday they were at my mom's for the afternoon, and she let them play computer games for FIVE HOURS.

The Big One was okay after some decompression time reading Garfield. The Little One was an absolute nightmare until he woke up this morning.

I should have left his cranky, overly emotional butt there for the evening so she could deal with the fallout.

Ditto. I tell people not to be offended, it isnt personal, I just don't like most other people's kids. Polite ones who act their age are fine.
