It is tangy, and sweet, like apricot jam on cream cheese, but the textures are competing in an epic battle right along my gag reflex. Maybe if I melt it on toast?

cheese, when one REALLY ponders it, is gross anyways. If it were making me gag I'd just say screw it. Melted goo with chunks in it, do you want to go there? Do you?

I'm reheating some fried onion petals from yesterday's lunch at Logan's Steakhouse for today's lunch. Yesterday the onion was not soft enough, so I'm hoping reheating improves it. Now that my sister's wedding is over, I'm taking a break from dieting for a while.

I laid down at 10am to nurse the baby down for his nap...and woke up 3 hours later. On one hand, yippee -I got a 3 hour nap; on the other hand, I would've enjoyed 3 baby-free hours to catch up on stuff.

everyone! I finally caught up!

Mapes did you find your SS cards?

Can I just say I LOVE my MIL and that she's staying with us for another 6+ months because she's awesome and knows 2 babies means I need more than 2 hands?

That's all.

A three hour nap? I want a three hour nap! But not enough to have another baby.

I had a half sandwich of egg salad on wheat and a tub of veggies with dip from the deli at the grocery store. It was delicious.

I love my MIL but I don't think I'd want her to live with me for 6 months. Glad it will work out well for you though Algae!

Can't say I normally would love it, but yeah, I can't give both boys a bottle at the same time, not enough hands! And they both want a bottle at the same time.

My MIL would live with ME for three months, but not if DH and the kids were here. She never got over 6 boys including 2 sets of twins.

6 months! That's awesome! I would love my mother to live with me for 6 months. She usually only comes for a week or 2 when I have a baby (but I usually only have 1 at a time). She cooks and cleans and watches my older kids - she usually leaves the baby care to me because of the nursing, but she's so awesome to have around here. She never argues about the way I do things and she thinks my kids are amazing.

Algae, both your twins were bigger than any of my singletons - all mine were in the 6lb range. I usually buy preemie clothes for the first few weeks, even though they were full term.

Hope you feel better soon. Abdominal surgery sucks.
