Dear poundy girl,

The keyboard is an inanimate object. That means it's not alive, never was. Therefore, it is unnecessary for you to beat on it with your annoyingly fake acrylic nails. Please remember this is a library and quiet is not just a suggestion, but the rule.

Thanks bunches,

Q is for QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya. I have to buy men's sizes but it's hard to find a men's 6. AND I hate colored shoes. I know, I'm a racist, but I want plain white shoes. Shoe shoping ususally ends in tears. Not always my tears, but tears none the less.

I can't start the mower, so shane mows. I raked and shoveled dog poo, hula hoed nightshades, raked and cleaned the coop, moved all the kids' and dogs' toys, and helped move other "crap" to either the trailer for a dump run, or somewhere less irritating if we were going to keep it.

I had already gone through my "coop stuff" and trashed most of it. Later this week I will be moving everything from under the patio to out in the yard. I hope this will facillitate the concrete getting poured.

The patio is 100 feet by 16 feet--which is why we have sat on getting it done. Shane originally wanted pavers, but I FINALLY talked him out of it. I like pavers, but for a high-traffic area where chickens poop---a porous, uneven ground cover is not a great idea.

he is breathing like Darth Vadar and his personal philosophy must be "how will they know I want to mate if they can't smell me?"

I think my time at the library is nearing an end. I may sufocate before I can finish typ..........gasp.......gag........send.......help........

I also pulled the last of the corn from the front yard and planted onions and garlic. Since those grow so slow, I may plant lettuce in between, but not until this weekend. It is supposed to hit 104 again this week, and I'd rather wait.
