I'll do that.

I hope she comes back too

All it takes is a random do-gooder delivery person or visitor to see her and pick her up, not knowing she is yours.....I would at least call around. Local vets, local shelter.....and put a sign up at them, at wally world, local grocery store, talk to mail person etc.

When one of our dogs wandered off, I started calling the neighbors closest to us and then in a circle outward - finally found him over two miles away where someone had kenneled him until they could take him in to scan him for a microchip (which he did have). I made a lot of phone calls but it was worth it!

Morning everyone. Work is taking up all my time. I hate it. My next months schedule is so crammed I feel like I it would be easier to run away. I am thankful that we finally found a house and have a contract. But now comes all the packing (which DH is not allowed to do! Last time he decided my underwear drawer could softly house all my depression glass....dummyhead!) So I get to assign him some packing while I'm there to ensure that its done correctly) Plus I have two birthday parties for DD and DS, a going away party for DS, a bridal shower that I cant get out of, sending DH to Philadelphia for two weeks, Parents 55th anniversary party, the home inspection, fixing the house I presently live in so it can be rented, arranging movers to actually move the stuff, giving what feels like blood and a urine specimen to the bank for the mortgage along with all the documentation they want, gotta take DD to Atlanta so she can pick up more clay for school, work, finish all my certification and licensing quizes to keep my job, ship a rooster to texas and then I get to do all my regular chores. Oh and some how through all that I have to some how make arrangements to get a bunny from Nella. UGGGGGG!

So what do I do instead........I turn to BYC and live in oblivion.

Works for me.

Also HUGS for Bells little one and for Sparkles weiner dog.

Which reminds me, one of the things I absolutely love about Ole is that he always wants to keep one of the peoples within his line of vision. I don't have to be constantly watching him when we are outside because he is constantly watching me! Maybe he's afraid I'll escape the yard...

Oh yeah..Belle...croup sucks. Poor little guy. DS#1 used to get it really, really bad. There were many nights when we were up in the wee hours sitting in a bathroom full of steam so he could breathe. Not fun.

Quote:
This is our first round with croup in an infant. Ella had it last winter, but she was 5, so not as scary. I just took a shower with him so we could be presentable for our Dr's appt in an hour and I was hoping the steam would help him. He's not eating, but he'll nurse, so I know he's getting something. He's finally getting some sleep. I hope he doesn't make a habit of getting croup. My husband wanted me to take him to the ER last night, it's scary when they're struggling to breathe.

Sparkles, I'm sorry about your Emma dog. I hope she comes home.

Bows, just reading your to-do list makes me want to nap.

Good morning, Nella. Or is it a bad morning for you?

We used to use that vapor-bath for infants and the infant vapor-rub stuff on DS#1, it helped some too. Steam was usually the best. We never had to take him to the ER but it was scary close a couple of times. His doctor told us that cold air also helps, so a lot of times by the time you got the baby to the ER they'd be breathing okay again just from being taken out in the cold. But it's not that cold, yet.
