Sinus pain left when it started to rain, thank goodness. Unfortunately, I am still coughing a little, and I actually coughcoughbarfed onto my laptop this morning. I had no warning it was coming. Thankfully, my superhuman speed allowed me to pull out my shirt ralph into it, rather than a full splat onto the keyboard.

One day, you will ask how I am doing, and I will have nothing wrong with me. Then what would we talk about?

I could tell you also. It's just a snafu. Every government project is like this, thus snafu. Not a clusterhug. But the government itself is fubar, so snafus should be expected.

Snafus are unavoidable when one is dealing with an engineer. Sorry to Belle's DH, I am sure he is a good engineer, but the ones we deal with 95% of the time are, uh, special.

Aren't you glad you weren't at work?

You should hear some of the stories he tells about his co-workers. A lot of engineers can't get their heads far enough out of their behinds to listen to what needs doing.

DH is an excellent engineer and is often called in to clean up the messes other engineers make, so no offense taken.

Although I am impressed that in that split second you realized the danger to your laptop and found an alternative solution. The real question: did you wash the shirt, throw it away or wipe it off and wear it work?
