Morning all

Great day to be off, it's 63 outside now with a projected high of 85.

Only thing on the "to do" list is to make a batch of lotion.

I could do some housework but will have to work up some enthusiasm for that ha ha, like that's going to happen.

Hi Deb

Same forecast here, mid sixties this morning with a high in the low 80's. Its so windy and dry we have wind advisories and fire warnings all over.

DH wants to be combining corn right now. Heck hath no fury like an impatient farmer. I stopped listening, I just nod and say "Mmmhmmm" every so often whilst pondering my own thoughts. I can't take the "OMIGOD I should be out there!" anymore.

Lars' wart ended up NOT getting surgically removed. Instead, the doctor (AMAZINGLY sweet fellow, but terrible palsy, I was slightly relieved that he wasnt doing any cutting) put concentrated salycilic acid on and taped them up. Now we must keep those tootsies dry for a WEEK and go back next Wed for a trim job. Gross.

Sparkles, I'd help him if I could drive the whatevers.

When I was in my 20's I had warts really bad on a couple of fingers. Used the salycilic acid and tape method. Worked better than anything else! Just put the tape on with the thought that you want to smother the warts, NO access to air. It worked for me and relatively quickly.

Belle, show him your t**s, it always works!

MsDeb, I will miss you on FB. Although I am not as active on it since it changed, I just can't see what I want to anymore and it frustrates me to death.

The crew is working out at the airport this week and DH said there is a huge group of DNR firefighters camped out there with a helicopter ready to take them where they need to be at a moment's notice. We saw one of the firefighters at the grocery store last night, poor guy was so tired he could barely stand up. He looked like he stood in a fireplace all day.
