Morning everyone. Belle I hope the baby is feeling a little better today! Sparkles sometimes DH's just dont get it! Nothing exciting going on here.

DH's brains ALL went AWOL.

My sister called from Cali; I am loading up the MegMobile and after Sarah's Dr. appointment tomorrow I'm headed with all the kids to Huntington Beach. I prefer three hellions in a car for 7 hours to staying home.

Yea! Maybe find a tide pool to let them poke around in, maybe find a zoo, look up a cousin or two, spend too much time at the park, make soap with my sister,
sit in a hot tub too long, get chilly and have a fire in the pit.

Morning all! Is everyone ok? I think I am like, 200 pages behind.

Sparkles- it sounds like you had a fun but busy weekend.

I am doing better, and can almost move my left leg normally. Basically, I am walking like I am dropping a kid. My owie heel does not seem to have suffered unduly as a result, so I am not too concerned over all.

Anywhoos---if you all go to The Henway today, that is how my whole weekend went.

Except Shaner DID put the new cover on the run. Major plus. Rat birds are still finding a way in, but I havent figured out how yet.

Good morning everyone.

Oddly, my DH is one of the only people I can stand to be around right now, so the cosmic DH crankiness must have passed him by somehow. Don't worry, when it hits it'll be twice as bad after fermenting for a while.

sparkles, my kids can spend hours doing I Spy. Fun times.

Belle, I hope for many sleep-filled nights in your immediate future!

I made applesauce and pear cranberry sauce last night. Love your pear cranberry sauce, I used dried cranberries. The skins and peels for all are simmering on the stove for jelly. Gonna make rice crispy bars with dried fruit and nuts in it for the road. Going to do laundry and pack at the same time. Have to find my note on the HOA Board meeting so I don't miss it.

DH and I worked all weekend. Installed a commercial water heater at one job, a shower at another job, and repaired a leak under a floor at a super creepy house.

In other news, I am officially the crazy cat lady of the OW thread. Someone dumped a kitten at my in-laws place last week and she's now DS#2's cat. That puts us at 5 cats.

She's so darn cute. Black and brown tabby with white feet and a white chest and tummy, I would say about 9 weeks old. I think we're calling her Tricksy in honor of Halloween this month. Three of the other four cats are interested but mostly indifferent. Radar hated her on sight, as he always does. He'll get over it.

Pass the coffee this way, please.
