This is so terrible, but it sounds just like a story I'd tell my kids.....

"In "Die Geschichte vom Daumenlutscher" (The Story of the Thumb-Sucker), a mother warns her son not to suck his thumbs. However, when she goes out of the house he resumes his thumb sucking, until a roving tailor appears and cuts off his thumbs with giant scissors."

Just where do you find this stuff?
I would tell my kids that too.
But not the kids I work with - in fact a lot of the immigrants here now come from war torn countries where that just might be a reality...

That's why you get a saltwater system. No chlorine funk.

I doubt I can convince the high school to switch their pool system over, though.

It was on MSN in a list of "cautionary fables for children"

Hi kids,

Have not quite eluded the work fairy. Will be "officed up" for the rest of the week and part of next week. Le sigh. I do like having money to spend though so it balances out. I guess.

Don't get the thread closed while I'm gone!
