I was thinking about doing quail this year.
I try not to do real dark eyeliner, this week I'm liking the charcoals, a nice shadow around my lashes. <batting baby-blues>
I really liked it, I worked in the hatchery there, so I got to see fuzzy butts every week. But LOTS of cleaning (incubators, hatchers, etc). Quail are such fun little birds, and the A & M's are really really mellow. I had some of my own a couple years back, they just want to be fed. The A & M's are all white meat too. And darn tastey little critters. Easy to breed, easy to hatch, easy to raise. Even easier than chickens, really.
With your blue eyes, you should do bronze (kinda shimmery/sparkley shadow), that would really make them pop.
