I was thinking about doing quail this year.

I try not to do real dark eyeliner, this week I'm liking the charcoals, a nice shadow around my lashes. <batting baby-blues>

Orchid, have you tried Revlon Color Stay? It's what I use unless I want the darkest line possible. It always helps to "set" it-put some light eyeshadow or pressed powder right under it-it will help it not to run.

I really liked it, I worked in the hatchery there, so I got to see fuzzy butts every week. But LOTS of cleaning (incubators, hatchers, etc). Quail are such fun little birds, and the A & M's are really really mellow. I had some of my own a couple years back, they just want to be fed. The A & M's are all white meat too. And darn tastey little critters. Easy to breed, easy to hatch, easy to raise. Even easier than chickens, really.

With your blue eyes, you should do bronze (kinda shimmery/sparkley shadow), that would really make them pop.
