I'll bet you run with scissors, too.

You know it!

On a side note, that was a far far better book than movie. But if you wanna even better one, read "Dry". Very very good.

Did you read 'Look Me in the Eye' by the brother of "Scissors" guy? Very good book also.

Will look for Dry.

Don't cover for me. You know it's gross. What, you afraid of the tea-baggers? Huh? 'fraid to stand up to the riff raff? I say throw it ALL in the Bay!!!!!

Don't say teabaggers or you'll have all the who's in whooville running for the mods...

If you ever want to laugh, check out the books by Christopher Moore.
I started with 'The Stupidest Angel' and was laughing out loud by the 3rd page. These are not books I'd recommend to Mom. Except for Lamb. She'd get a kick out of that one as its his least scatalogical book...
He has a few duds, but for the most part is hilarious. Don't read the one about the whale...

I say splort, too....

No, no, no, don't run away, but do be thoughtful - mods have lives, too, ya know. Rob knows about my biker daze, there's another mod who is also a former biker (although I don't think we can really be former bikers, as the saying goes, if I have to explain, you won't understand

.) My cube dwelling days were after that, I've calmed down in my old age - and reached that old age somehow!!

As for the use of the term 'teabagger', please, let's let that one go, it isn't nice at all, we shouldn't be tossing it around in here or anywhere else.

Now, please, continue and enjoy (just be nice and thoughtful).

YES!! Love that book!!

Anything by Terry Pratchett is good, as well as Neil Gaiman. Read most all of their books.

Has she read Water for Elephants? Not funny, but an awesome book.

The Thirteenth Tale is also very good.

And The Forgotten Garden is one I read recently and LOVED!!! Kind of a mystery, very well written.

I hated it. It had a few funny moments but I mostly found it tedious and not one of his better books. The best part was reading about how he researched it.
