We have all those...

You all like Orson Scott Card? My eldest son is named Ender from Ender's Game.

I really like his Alvin Maker series. He is so funny, and you KNOW every mom in his books is a perfect snapshot of his mother.

I like Mirror, Mirror but Ugly Stepsister wasn't so good. Didn't like Lost either. I haven't read some of the others I just found.

If you want super lite reading but HILARIOUSLY funny, The Shopaholic series is too funny!

*nomnomnom*
Oregano stuffed pasta with organic spaghetti sauce, topped with a handful of mozzarella cheese, accompanied by expired whomp-um pizza crust with garlic butter & provolone baked in.
Washed down by the dreaded iced tea...

These sound like smut books, Ms. O'keefe.

Nope. They're post-Victorian.

You want smutty books, PM me.

Will have to remember that. There are times when I seriously need funny books...

Uh oh. Have a feeling my inbox will be full soon!

Long time ago I worked at barnes & noble, and we were allowed to take 10 "Strip books" per shift home for free. 90% of the time, they were romance novels.

Strip book: when the publisher cannot sell a certain title, so they recall the book. Too expensive to ship books, so they rip off the cover (UPC symbol) and mail only the covers back. The books are either taken home or destroyed. Illegal to donate them as they are technically trademarked consignment property.

Sounds like me, yesterday. Being good today. Except for the fudge.

Hubby spells that with an 'o' rather than an 'ic'....

Thanks for clarifying.....not sure where you were going with smut+strip books????? seemed like another inappropriate topic. I'd hate to have to hit the "report" button today.

So B&N participates in destroying books????? hmmmmmmmmmm May have to "report" that too. But who would care? ACLU? NAACP? NASA?
