maple, I think that ear medication should be just fine. I have a friend who is a pharmacist and he said that most medications will lose their efficacy over time, but it's often a lot longer time than what the expiration date says as long as they're stored properly.

Bows, I used to put a ponytail on my Irish Setter's ears, years ago. And then she'd smile at me because she loved it when I'd laugh. Cats don't like barrettes on their ears or tails, and only like ponytailers when they're skittering across the floor to be chased. Callie steals my pony-tailers to toy with them. Glad you found your cord, though!!
