In that case...yesterday I was reading something online about "dangers of eating meat" and this woman was writing about "Rendering plants..." she said, that all the parts that don't go into the market...hooves, heads, intestines...go to the rendering plant as do euthanized animals from the shelters. She also said that road kill no matter how long it's been sitting there and sick and diseased animals also go to rendering plants where they are ground up and steam cooked...the lighter stuff goes into cosmetics, candles, soaps...and the dark brown powder that also contains fecal matter goes to livestock feed called, "protein concentrates."

Really? Shelters dispose thier animals to rendering plants who then make them animal food? huh? Is this really a documented fact? And road kill and diseased animals??? Come on....

Almost but I got out of it. I think I would want things but I would have the money to get them. Like those stones you can put in the oven to cook bread and such...those look cool. And then there's some gadgets that would be neat to have.

And if you get a stone...don't put it under cold water when it's hot or it will crack in half and die...that's what I heard.

I've heard that for a baking stone to really do a good job, it has to warm up in your oven for hours first. So I never bothered.

Maple thats a sooooo gross! and sad I cant walk by the animals at petco and petsmart on adoption days, I always come home with one because I hate how sad they look in the cages. Plus I get really peeved at people who let their kids poke at the animals and shake the cages.
