We received a 45 day continuance from CMS today. It doesn't mean we're out of the woods by any means, but it does mean at least another month and a half of work and time to look for a back up plan.

I other distressing news, my DF's job is hanging in the balance due to an event unrelated to all this. I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear what they decide. I just want to hug him and cry- but that doesn't seem very supportive

I just love this guy, and he is excellent at what he does. So- anyone who is willing please say a prayer that he keeps his job.

Add to that 4 code zero's in 3 nights, and I'll say its been a tough week all around.

No, but I am the payroll backup, so I have access to everything. If they were going to can me, say on a Friday, they would have to put the check in the system before hand--since they give you your check when they kick you to the curb.

Only 1 layoff this week. Not bad! I expect any other layoffs would probably happen next Friday, with the 3-day weekend.
