Hmmm we could always pedi-party to maintain apperances... since neither of us can drink it could work.

Sidenote, somehow knowing that the rest of the world is still going on outside this room is darn comforting.

So today the big news from my world is we bought me a wheelchair yesterday. The rential was falling apart, and mr saddi was having to hunch over to push it. So we found me a teen-sized one that I fit in well, with taller handles (it's designed for parents who need to push thier children). I feel like i'm in a stroller, but his back's not hurting.

PTO is "Paid Time Off". You are paid as though you are at your desk.

Salaried people, if properly categorized and subject to a personell audit per the IRS, should get "COMP Time"---Since salaried people do not get overtime, the company must either re-imburse them for additional hours worked, or create a "bank" of saved time off.

So if I work a 9 hour day, I get 1 hour of COMP time, to use at my descretion. Like sneaking out early on a Friday afternoon...

Still short of money but who isn't. Kids arrived last night. Had dinner and hung out. They are so spoiled by the whole "i got to have electricity" thing. You'd think a campfire and a port-a-john would be enough, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I did get called this morning and both of my mares and foals were put on a van so they should be here sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. Hopefully they are ok. I have not seen them yet. I haven't seen the mares since the end of April!!!

Got to call the bank. Need money ASAP! Man being a grown up sucks.
