I eat cadbury eggs the same way, but NEVER in front of witnesses.
Haven't had one yet this year. Seems contradictive to the exercise program I'm putting myself through so I look sleek when I see my old classmates from high school in a month or two. I'll never be the 90-pound twig I was back then, but I still want to look good.

I'm vain.

I'm not ever coloring my hair again, and I rarely wear make-up, but I seriously want to take my 6-pack abs from my 20's out of the soft-sided cooler I aquired in my 40's....

None of us will ever get many of those awards. They're for being all welcoming an sweet an supportive an stuff. Which we ain't. Consistently...

WEGO- Sent your egg out yesterday at 5:07 PM. I saw the mail guy put it on the truck from the mailing center I was at, to whatever magical place they go.

....Since I was SUPPOSED to mail it from work, I didn't have any packing materials. So it is wrapped in a few of the dishtowels I brought it to work wrapped in. Please don't judge my nasty old dish towels.

Pffffft, speak for yourself. I am sweet and gentiiiiiiiiiile, darn it. DO YOU HEAR ME? SWEET AND GENTILE.

Speaking of sweet and gentile, anyone watch the Bachelor finale last night? Omg ugh.

I never judge dish towels. Case in point: DH wants to throw out the 40-year retired old diaper dish towel Mom forgot at our house, and I won't let him. Not even if he buys her a new one. Soft, elderly dish towels dry things sooooo much better than new ones. He doesn't get it.

It is soooo not a pack rat thing at this point.

Beaner is a gentile.... This cracked me up. And dacs is a... Buffy, what's dacs again??

Omg so filled with annoyance today. I love how my boss is going around saying how so and so is swamped. That's nice, ME TOO. As I was walking out for lunch she said "so I'll send so and so over to check with you when you get back". Uh yeah, that's nice but I'm already swamped so I don't have time to do their work too.

SO ANNOYED.

At which point I smile big and say, "Really, she has time to help me?!?"
And then the boss looks all confused....

I also like to ask the boss to help me prioritize which things get dropped so I can help someone with their emergency....

I rarely got asked to help, back when I used to be able to do that. Now my job is tedious data entry and phone work, so it's not so easy to slough off the stupid stuff <sigh>

I used to start each day by making a list of things I was working on so I could rattle them off when my old boss asked questions about ANYTHING. He was a micro-manager, but also ridiculously deep into brown-nosing. If I had to think about what I was working on he'd set me to doing stupid stuff before I could answer. Making lists helped focus my scattered brain and I could rattle off whole ranks of tasks befire the "?" finished coming out of his mouth. I miss those days!

I had a boss like that too. If you don't watch out for yourself, who will?

I'm lucky today, both attorney's are out of the office. Woo hoo!~
