Bowwow, my favorite television is when the Masters golf tournament from Augusta comes on. The blooming azaleas just knock me out - especially when the azaleas up here are still looking deader than dead.

I don't understand this "mammal" thing.

I'm hoping you didn't take your newborns outside and start pecking around the dirt with them... [starting to worry about Laree...]

You could get the same effect with silk flowers and a can of green spraypaint....

Did you know they do some weird thing to make sure those flowers bloom at exactly the right time? DH was telling me about it while I was trying to take a golf nap one afternoon. How weird is that? Leave it to men to try and make Mother Nature perform on cue....

Being a mom is hard. Got DD up at the usual time, she lagged around the usual time, then shut her door to get ready. I told her 15 minutes before the bus came that she better hurry. I told her at 10 minutes. I gave her the 5 minute warning as well.

When I said, "The bus is here!" she said, "ALREADY???"

She left without her lunch.

I didn't take her the lunch, because she has cut things too close EVERY morning this week and she had AMPLE warning to get herself together.

But now I feel bad

Dhe does have some $, though. She's supposed to buy me some GS cookies from a friend, but if she spends it on 'real food' I won't be too mad. But I'll bet she forgot the $ because she was running late...

Because the golf channel was running out of sponsors.

The whole idea of Viagara makes me mad - how about the 30% of women who have gotten used to ... never mind... and never complained and demanded pharmaceutical help?

Don't feel bad Lori. This is a lesson she'll be wise to figure out early in her life. Now is a much better time than when she's an annoyingly undependable adult.
