And I did not take my umbrella with me to go up hill this morning. I had just gotten out of the shower and my hair was wet already, so a little rain wasn't going to get me any wetter.

Thing is....mom now has 3rd older sister involved because she wants to do the house loan the "right" way and is getting mom's lawyer that sis has picked out and resides in Chy-town involved. I think so they can draw up some crazy rent to own business for me that will probably include...if anything breaks renter is responsible and no more pets.... and probably some other crap that I will have to let roll off my back because at least in MY head---this is a temporary thing....VERY temporary and hopefully within a year I can get it in my name and get mom's name off of it so sisters don't feel they have some control in living my life for me. Hello???? It's my life. I'm nearly 40 years old now. You heard batty...I ain't chor whippin boy...and I ain't your "little" sister who acts as your pawn anymore. Haven't done that in over a decade...time for you wenches to realize I cut the puppet strings a long time ago.

So I think I will address these issues in a statement of facts way. I will hold my tongue so it will not be as a double edged sword. I know there will be moments this will be hard to do. But I am finding it easier not to explode when they make thier jabs....I just walk away....let days go by before I respond calmly. I will not be defensive and name call...as one of my good friends pointed out....I will not sink to thier level. She speaks from experiance.

I'm impressed, boo took a shower. I refuse to do any personal hygeine this week except for floss. Last night I flossed and my back gum hurt really bad...that's what I get for eating meat and not flossing for a couple of days. It still hurts. And I will admit...I sniffed my floss.

My broody Curly, is a dirty birdy.

I thought egg production had been low, but lately it has been way low.

I had given Curly 3 chicks to raise, and she has (sorta) been raising the 10 meaties. They are all in a seperate area, penned off from the rest of the flock--but an occasional hen will break into their area to lay an egg. I have been getting those eggs every day. Or so I thought.

Tiny Curly has been getting off the nest, walking all the way to the other nesting box, and rolling the darn eggs back to her nest. She was sitting on like 10+ regular sized eggs.

AAAAAND I checked the other nesting box, and found Red (the DH's favorite, a RIR) had gone broody in there. She's sitting on what looks like an entire day's worth of eggs. (22ish?)

Crap.

I guess the main flock hens have been pestering the meaties more than I thought. *sigh*

After I finished in the garden, I went and re-did the barrier that is supposed to keep the laying hens out.

Work of a different sort, today.

Yup, some days you just have to tell the drama llamas the reality of the world. Let them wallow in their own muck and filth. But it doesn't do much good to tell 'em off if you still have to be around them. Then they just whine and spit more. And they get the icky drama llama spit on you. Ick.

Which is why I told my parents off totally. I gave up trying to have a relationship with them. So I told 'em off and cut 'em off.

But alas, I can't tell off the drama llama at work. Sigh.
