Hey, that reminds me buff...if you ever work for the airlines again...I watched the show BONES and one of the murders was of a lady stuck in the airplanes big ol microwave that put thier dinner trays in. Just giving you ideas....

Ok, I looked again...you're right, orange torti is girl and other one is a boy.

In cats, the presence of orange and any color other than white means female.

Calico.....white orange black
Torti....orange black

Dilute version of either works same as lavender in chickens....dilutes orange to peach and black to gray.

Similarly, the majority of orange cats are boys. Not all, but something like 70% of orange cats are boys.
99% of calico or torti cats are females. The very few males are generally sterile as that combination of colors is sexlinked and so when it appears in a male it means it has some make genes replaced with girly genes.
