DS12 tried it the longest, lasted till lunch the 2nd day.

At 5 and after, if they want a short order cook to prepare them a meal, they will pay me for making them what they want. Yup, I have a list on the fridge of what options I will make, they can pick one and pay the price and I'll make it for them. Granted, I'm an evil mother and a meal of PB&J is $5. I don't like being a short-order cook.

I am so sorry to hear that.

I think mice cause a lot more barn fires than heat lamps do...particularly those that aren't PLUGGED IN.

After the big Tantrum of January 2011, my kids have pretty well given up on whining about anything I make. If they don't care for it, they quietly find themselves a piece of toast or a bowl of cereal, which is just fine by me.
