Office Work.......

Right now I am re-doing a subsidiary's financial statements....these were the ones I complained about on Friday. The partner in charge seems to think he is allowed to manage his projects based on how crappy the FS look, and that all I have to do is push a button and the WHOLE financial book magically appears.

TO BE FAIR: this sub is teeny weeny, but because of teh 4th of July, I am in a major "rush" with my parent company's financials.

"Rush" being a bad word, since I have to wait on all sorts of other people before I can push the magic button to make them appear.

Hi Office Friends - I finished at my No-BYC morning office and now that I've had a yummy lunch of leftover tough pork and squishy squash, I'm off to clean the house up the street. I just wanted you guys to know I am thinking of you and wishing tons that I was being paid to quibble with the smartbutts on BYC all afternoon like the good ol' days.

This "honest work" thing is killing me. Something's gotta give. Thinking of moving in with Batty and riding her exercise bike to generate electricity for her...

so it's 5 after 3 and I've not gotten a thing done. Splort, Splort, Splort - everywhere!!!

So I balanced my check book friday, realized I entered a deposit TWICE and wrote checks off of it. So I had stuff bounce. Yeah me!

Been hot no electric makes me very tense on top of it all.

Lawyer called this morning. Said our best bet would be to have the farm pay worker's comp. Probably not gonna happen since they aren't returning my email. Lawyer said the problem would be putting liability on someone since he wasn't actually doing the farm work and the farm manager probably has no insurance and the sales pavilion might be at fault but who knows. So it will cost us a butt load of cash for the attorney to figure it out and who knows if they would even have to pay anything.

Raccoon was back with a vengeance last night. 5 dead birds. Caught one int eh trap and made it pay dearly. But gonna have to do something more. This time I lost two male and two female split lavs and my house chicken.

Pumpkin Roll got into something yesterday. Her right rear leg is swollen three times the right size. Huge gaping puncture wound. We cold hosed it and wrapped it but I'm thinking I'm gonna need anti biotics for this one. Oddly she isn't lame on it.

ummmm yeah, that's pretty much it for the splort report so far, but then I haven't heard from the land lord yet. I'm sure the rent check bounced. Yeah me

I'm here. I 've been working on catching up the store. so far behind. Pumpkin Roll kicked through the fence at the stupid donkeys and gashed up her other leg last night. We corralled her and she threw a full on hissy fit almost all night long! This horse is driving me crazy!!!
