Yes, it's "flies" not "flys". I knew sooner or later I'd figure out what a certain perfect speller was referring to[/b].

That's good because I thought it was part of the whole fixation thing...

Mom: So why do you want to live on campus?
Me: Well, I Don't want to cost you guys gas money, plus it'll be noisy here, and it'll not be noisy in college because they'll be people of 18+ years of age, and they know how to be quiet and study and things like that.

What?

Oh dear...

Prinny K, you are hilarious.

I was an RA at Coronodo, at the UofA, for 2 years. It was known as Playboy's #2 most "gettting busy"-active dorm in the nation.

Not a lot of studying went on there.

If you pic a dorm, make sure you talk to the RAs and the counselors to find out which ones are the "party" dorms and the "student" dorms.

Me too. We babes have the upper hand in this one. So to speak.

Yeah. Poor baby was talking about long it had been and I was so supportive, "Really? And why has it been so long? Shall I count the reasons? Would you like the whole list or just the top 5?"

Someday he will learn that trying to knock on the door is just stupid. If he'd really wanted to turn me on he'd have massaged my feet. Sheesh.

My third year as an RA, I was at Palm Shadows- an "apartment-like" dorm. It was a lot easier because I had all the U of A football players (they are required to live on campus) and half of the building was rented out to the University Hospital for families of terminally ill patients.

Very stupid, and very quiet there.

Heh, Prinny K. I like that!

Wow, good to know. Thanks.

I'll disagree with this one because:
1-Personal experience
2-Girls are witchy
3-It is hard to do study groups when boys are not allowed through the threshold into the study lounge or your room.

Depends on the place.
1- Based mine on my experience.
2- Of course, but you get that anywhere.
3- Boys were allowed in our rooms until 9pm, and could be in the downstairs lounges until 11pm lock-up.
4- There were a LOT of places on campus to meet & study, and I never wanted anyone in my room.

Compromise. Live int eh girls dorm right across the quad from the guys dorm and then spend ALLLLLL your time in the guys dorm. They have bigger tvs and better pool tables anyway. That's what I did

Good call---

I think the "girls dorm" got restrictive as I got older and more of my classes required groups---but then there was always one person in the girls dorm and wanted us to come to her. Our library was 24 hours, so that was nice.
