Boyd, not that I have any experience in this area or anything but I can confidently say women in their 40's rock. (no offense to women in their 50's or higher intended)

never dated older than 35 for the last 20 years or so

Eventually Kelly will be a fantastic 40.

You are a master indeed! I bet the pooch comes in handy for overly inquisitive females who like to admire your wildlife subject.

Did someone say wildlife? Oh, wrong kind.

I was too busy working to come here sooner. Getting ready for work in Montana, Wyoming, and maybe Colorado. It's a tough job.

That's why we are so glad you are on BYC!

Okay, I'm off that phone call guys. Turns out the US Copyright and Trademark office people can be pretty nice.

See you all tomorrow - I'll be on all day. Maybe DacJohns will join us.

Maybe he will.

Are you all tired of my catching up yet?

You cant have just one? Or are you unable to stop there? I usually allow myself two when I make cookies. I usually eat the with breakfast so I have a chance to work them off throughout the day.

In this discovery phase of my food life, I have found out I love green beans, broccoli, zucchini and all different kinds of leafy greens, and balsamic vinagrette dressing. I finally found one that doesn't have high fructos corn syrup in it - Kraft.

No, I mean I choose not to eat them . I am getting really close to my weight loss goal and I want to get there. It would be great to get there in time to see Belle next month.

I have my days I choose to eat things that will slow my weight loss. But after the first 100 lbs came off I got a lot more picky about what was good enough to warrant a taste.

It has to be really good and I have to have time to really enjoy it. No more just tossing calories down my throat. I want to savor the flavor and if I can't take the time to enjoy it, I don't need to eat it.

Don't get me wrong, I eat good, really good. I am a foodie who loves all kinds of food. And I love to cook. I cook some really awesome things for the kids that I choose not to eat, it doesn't bother me in the least. I can bake cookies and never taste one. There is no deprivation, it's just a choice.

It funny that you mention enjoying your food. When I have a chocolate chip cookie, I take a small bite, lick the melt chocolate, take another, and repeat. Probably why I only need 2 to fulfill the need these days. I am still about 40 lbs from where I want to be, and if I stay steady I am fine with that. I have lost over 50 lbs, just changing my diet to focusing on healthy foods that I enjoy and like, as opposed to HAVING to eat this many servings of this that or the other. I am three lbs from seeing under 200. Its been slow, but satisfying and easy, and I have never once felt like I was depriving myself by saying no.

Man, I wish I had your willpower.

I am working on my weight loss, too. I'm eating smaller portions and I'm working on not eating so much fast food. I've also been excercising more, although I need to get back into that. And I've lost about 7 pounds! *dances like a loon*

That's AWESOME Debi!!!
Green veggies and lean meat are my staples. I like everything so it's easy to find things to eat.
