God grant me patience, I have a pyscho old lady coming in to discuss her bill that she doesn't understand. She's not the cute confused little old lady kind of little old lady, she's the ancient wrinkled hosebeast crone kind of little old lady.

Buffy, I can't tolerate no stalks at all. Trade 'em in.

Yes, during the active growth phases, not dormancy. But the the bulbs have still gotten smaller over the years. I really do love that red/pink/white striped amaryllus in the pic. Wowee!

On a better note, I have a clivia that has sprung up two babies in the same pot. They are so cute I just want to tickle their little leaves!

Exactly. Even though we are NOT.

My DH works in that kind of field where his services are not as simple as shipping a product, for instance. Sometimes when someone creates a stink about a charge and doesn't accept DH's explanation, DH says, "okay, you can refrain from paying the bill, I'll put your housekeys in the mail to you tomorrow" (because he takes care of a lot of vacation houses that are unoccupied in the winter). Thankfully the company he works for is doing well enough that they can jettison difficult customers like that.

Hmn. Mine do that, but they still bloom nicely. I thought next year I'd put them in the shade garden for the summer and let them play at being wild bulbs.

Proud of you, Buffer. That sounds very risque. You 'leaf'-tickler, you.

She's actually a dragon in disguise. Be courteous. You don't want to meddle in the affaird of dragons because you are crunchy, and tasty with ketchup.

I can't view dacs' adorable picture either.

I've always wanted to try a clivia. Are they hard to grow? *waits to see how far out of context this can be taken*

I can and have given walking papers to overly difficult customers before, and will do it again if I have to.
