It was shortly after the divorce when he was trying to prove he never lied to them. Buttmunch.

Luckily, I had always told them that Santa was real, in essence. When later questioned, I said that Santa's essence lives in all of us when we give without thought of getting anything in return, so he is real. They liked that.

That's exactly what I told my oldest DS when he started seriously questioning me about Santa this year. I told him Santa lives in our hearts, he liked that too.

My cousin got her hubby spayed. Then she had twins.
Her hubby was really ticked off, but then she had him tested and it turned out they missed a vesicle or something....

He got tested six weeks after. I was taking NO chances.

DH and I are both Catholic. No plans for permanant birth control here.
