I'm going to spend Saturday racing around.

I will spend Sunday eating roast turkey, watching the fire in the fireplace and lighting candles at 7pm. I want to light a candle in every candle holder in the house. Hope the place doesn't burn down..... It'll take an hour just to fill them all with votives.

Lighting candles at 7 pm, is there something significant about 7pm?

All those candles should warm the house up.

My daughter got cats from one of the pet stores that just "sells" rescues. They have to be spayed/neutered, chip implanted, all the shots, and they aren't allowed to go outside unless on a leash. Cats not allowed outside?

It's dangerous out there.

Indoor cats live, on average, twice as long as outdoor cats.

I think its actually longer than that, depending on where you are of course.

Lots of indoor cats easily live 10-15 and even up to around 20 years these days. Most outdoor cats don't make it past 5. Tomcats, even less.

Having said that, I would rather see a cat be an indoor/outdoor cat than a put to sleep because it wasn't adopted cat.

It's a Worldwide Candlelighting event in rememberance of children who've died.

We did it outside, at the cemetary last year, and there's a service being held at the Compassionate Friends meeting place that night, but with the weather forecast as bad as it is we'll just stay home and remember.

That'll encourage Beaner to rush right out and get one!

I almost have a complete OW set of addresses. Just need Belle's and Michelle's to be complete.
And Debi's...

I know what states they live in.

Me?

I just got home and the stupid ice cream truck is going through our neighborhood. How stupid is that? The temp is barely above freezing!

And some 877 # keeps calling me, wanting me to press 1 and then 1 so it can steal my line and make overseas calls....

And I have cramps. I haven't been chowing on chocolate, so I wasn't expecting cramps. I am not amused at this little surprise.

Lori, we need to get together, drink margaritas and grump our brains out. And eat chocolate. Do you have a place to make fires? LOL. I want a firepit, I need "real" smores.

Make today end, please. Can't. Take. Much. More.

Have to be at the "expensive vet" at 8:30am. If they try to screw me over, I will take the cat and drive to the cheap vet where they do walk-ins.

And then kill everyone? LOL.

Man, it just must be me. I emailed my sister this morning to see what day/time she wanted to get together this weekend.....and she never responded to me either. Maybe I just need to go home and hibernate ALL ALONE. Just me and my franzia.

Then you'll get it. That's a Murphy's Law of interviews.

No doubt. I called my recruiter afterwards and told him I didn't "shine". His first, FIRST question was, "what did you like at your last job?"

...uhh nothing?......

Seriously, I had a total brian stutter.

Then I ripped my interview jacket and spent all afternoon trying to find a (cheap) new suit that fit my mannish, now chubbtastic, figure.

Toss me some chocolate wego. I have hate in my heart.
