Office Work.......

Hi kids. It's 3:09 on a monday morning. I am at work. Shocking, I know. I worked this weekend so yeah double time for me. But no real christmas as my children decided to stay in PA. It's ok, we couldn't have afforded anything anyway. Looks like for christmas I will recieve an eviction notice and a lawsuit. The store is a bust and as I did not win the powerball this weekend, I have no hope for making it work. Oh and Jeff crashed the truck into a tree so now I have a tree impression in the side of the bed and a busted out right turnsignal light up front. Yay me!

Hope you all had a better holiday than me.

Batty, I'm sorry to hear you had a rotten holiday.

I ate too much this weekend. Good grief, I still feel full. As my cousin's husband says, I think I'm having a food baby.

I need some of those, just to make it to the chicken coop some days. Look at all the snow we got this weekend. Keep in mind, this is East Tennessee...we don't GET snow.

One of my chickens made a snow angel. She apparently hopped off the railing onto the back deck.....and slid when she hit the deck. So there were two big slide marks ending in "footprints" and perfect wing prints in the snow on each side, where her wings had hit the ground. it was SO NEAT.

My chickens don't mind the snow till it gets below zero. Then I can almost make out the words "Shut the freakin door!!!!!"

I would think a chicken would make a really excellent looking snow angel!

Sigh. A bunch of my friends are having man drama. Most of them are over the age of 45 and yet somehow I feel like the old, sensible one trying to give good advice while not rolling my eyes and shaking my head.

I love them all and hate to see them hurting, but they have to realize that men just create more problems than they solve.
