YIKES. Did she leave an epipen with you? I am fairly certain my couch is held together with dried peanut butter.

Yes, she'd packed one. Both the mom and the dad weren't answering their phones. There's only 2 ped offices in the area and I called both to see if she was a patient, but the ever-so-helpful-nurse wouldn't give me any advice/help because I wasn't on the HIPPA form. "Are you kidding me?! We're talking life or death on a 2-year-old!!!!!" She finally had the Dr call me (apparently the Dr can override a HIPPA form) and give me real advice. At that point, the baby had showed no reaction and she felt that everything would be fine since she didn't actually eat a peanut, just a piece of cereal.

Finally the mom called me back and she thought she'd be fine, too. She had no reaction at all the rest of the day. I think I might need some Xanex.

Dear PropertyManagerDude-

Dude. It is SOOOO weird that you still have to provide us with a W-9, even though you have and EIN. CRAZY WEIRD.

However, if you want your rent money, you will send it over. Really. It is not about you, or even about me, it is all about the IRS. Welcome to the real world. I know, it's harsh.

Totally Wicked,

CrankyPants
