I'm counting down the minutes until I can leave work. Mama Bean is flying in in a half hour......bro in law is going to pick her up at the airport and then we will all meet at the MOST AMAZING new chinese buffet near here. I am starving in preparation. Have already taken 2 advil so I know I can eat LOL. They had the most amazing little cream cheese crab rangoon whatever the heck those are called.........you could SMELL the butter they were fried in. Holy moly frijole.....I couldn't stop eating them. I am expecting to gain at least 10lbs from this place alone.

He got home ad griped because the bird was on the screened in porch. I smiled.

She's drank more water and actually ate a few bites of mashed apple without me having to force it down her beak. She'll sleep in the garage tonight.

Sadly, Mam Blue is no better after 72 hours on antibiotics. I'm ready to let her go to the rainbow bridge. She's pitiful.
But maybe Goldilocks won't be going with her?

For Mama Blue, no. She's been in the garage since her attack. Her face is just soooo swollen and she acts like it's hard to breath and she can only see out of one eye.

With Goldie, yes I think heat is part of the problem. I see a change of venue in her immediate future, despite DH's thoughts on the matter. But not in the house. a/c would be too much too fast. garage or porch...

Seems I kilt the thread...

I am happy because the pullet committed splort. Its mostly clear with a bit of white & green. Not the best poop, but I've seen worse. But mostly it means she's not shutting down yet, so I am cautiously optimistic. She even pecked a bread crumb!

I'm sad because my mouth hurts like hell, and its hotter than hell outside.

Pizza, drugs, feed the birds, take a shower, watch America's Go talent, go to bed. That's the plan for tonight. Along with dosing Blue Mama and tempting Goldie with goodies. Everyone lives until tomorrow, AND THAT'S AN ORDER!!!
