Michelle, sorry for the rudely off-topic question, but does a person have to quarantine chicks from hatching eggs from a sort of unknown source? Can a hatched chick bring a disease into an established flock? I need to answer a person's question.

The sun is shining, the wind is blowing like mad, and yet I want to go home and ride my horsie because rifle whitetail season starts this weekend and there's no way in h e double l I'll be getting on a horse for the next 10 days. She's pretty too Beaner! What made her permanently lame, if you don't mind my asking? I had an Appy gelding who developed ringbone and arthritis in his shoulder, so for the last 13 or so years of his life he was a very pretty pasture puff.

Belle, I'd help you out if'n I could! Cleaning other people's stuff is way better than cleaning your own.
