Office Work.......

Hi kids.

lJeff got back to town last sunday after a harrowing experience and $600 to the dodge dealership in Lincoln, NE. darn vampires, that's what those places are!!!!

Finally got time to sleep last night. turned off all the cell phones and did nothing til this morning. Now I'm going to try to catch up on store work until i have to go to work at the truck company tonight.

Hey Nells!!!!!!!!!!!!! You and me babe, together, however momentarily on a Sunday night. Hubs is downstairs doing trial run of some very strange offshoot paint color in our living room. We were about to go with the exact same paint as the Pres of Harvard (Drew Faust, a nearby summer neighbor), but after viewing the sample in our own home, I weirded out about how dark it was for our humble abode. Now DH is rolling out "Ashwood" while watching football.

Ah, life in the sticks.

My friend wanted to arrange a baby shower for me (even though it's my 4th), but all my local friends were flaky and never got back with her (all my family and awesome online friends live too far away), so she took me out to dinner instead. It was one of those Japanese steakhouses where they cook the food in front of you - the chef kept putting little extras on my plate "for de bebe." It was sweet. My friend brought a cake and we shared it with the whole table and the waitress. My friend got a really cute pair of Robeez shoes for the baby. I had fun.

I came home with a lot of leftovers and got one foot in the door before the leftovers were seized by 2 children and a husband.

I love those restaurants!! I made a ham with honey plum sauce and scalloped potatoes, homemade applesauce and green beans. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to work so I could cook like that all the time. Oh! I made lemon cupcakes too.
