This entire thread is going to have French Toast for lunch now. My job here is done.

Lori, since you're closest, I volunteer you to come cook me french toast for breakfast. Once you no longer have the plague, of course.

I really like that idea. I bet Ella would get a kick out of it!

Last time I took her grocery shopping, she knelt on all fours in the buggy and barked at everyone who passed us.

Brilliant advice for any man at any time. (Same for snot-smeared cryin' wimmen too - when you think about it...)

'Tis true! I very rarely cry, but when I do, snot-smeared does not even begin to describe it.

So true for me too. I just try to make it like DH and I are BOTH innocent victims of The Bad Guy (hormones). That way, we're in it together, after the same goal - living through the Bad.

I WISH! I'm having a can of Progresso Pasta e Fagoli soup that I left in my desk on Tuesday.

BTW, I get grossed out when making French toast too! I like the final result, but seeing the bread all gunked up with the gluey slimy egg mixture ...

obviously, we are meant to be BFFs. Except then we would be forced to never have homemade french toast. Sigh. Come visit me and I'll make (I mean ASK) Lori to come make us both french toast.

My oldest went through a phase where she ate cat food, and wanted her food in a bowl on the floor as well.
A friend came to spend the night and my daughter taught her to lap water from a bowl on the floor. Proud moment for me

There's a children's book written by the same lady who wrote "My Side of the Mountain" about wolves. After reading outloud at bedtime for a week, I had pups instead of daughters.
I need to find that book. It would be fun to read it to the nieces and make them some 'fish pancakes' over Christmas.

Beaner, I am mostly plague-free, I think. But sinus issues and a lingering cough are irritating the daylights out of me, among other things. Sleep would help, if it didn't require so many drugs to achieve it.

I'm not sure but I saw her live at a festival once. Her bargaining powers are really as impressive as they seem. i find her annoying. There was a guy a few groups of people ahead of us in the audience....full on dread locks, middle aged man....he was yelling and cheering and doing this crazy shoulder shrugging dance that involved him flipping the collar of his shirt up in time with the music.

It was very strange.
