I was noticing when I give my GD drinks from a cup, she tried to drink it with her tongue, she must of been watching the cats!

Ok, sorry I saw this 26 pages ago!

Hey, and now I see you are talking about cats.

I would still like to get a 2nd cat so Norman can have a friend. However....Norman is a mean hateful thing, so I don't know if he would even want a friend. He would probably enjoy having another cat around to beat up. On the one hand, I'd like to SAVE something that would never be adopted. An old black cat or something like that..........but then I think Norman would prefer a young cat he could chase around and beat up.

I have 4 dogs, 2 bunnies, 1 horse, 1 cat, 4 ducks and 8 million chickens. I really don't need any more. But I *want* more.

The thing is Norman is not exactly a spring chicken himself. He is about 9 I think.......I can't remember. He is a very spoiled rotten obnoxious brat of a cat. Sometimes he will walk past the dogs while they sleep....and then just jump on them and bite their necks.....scares the poop out of them. Then he walks off like HA TAKE THAT. If I ignore him, he will start being "bad". Lick the heater vents, try to stand on my head....jump up onto the counter and start knocking stuff off piece by piece. Or tearing papers up.

He is the devil.

When I lived with my parents back in California, we had 4 cats, so he does get along with others....he is just a brat.

My cranky oldest cat likes kittens a lot after a week of hissing at them, and he still likes them when they grow up into big cats. Radar regularly bathes Spearmint even though he's all grown up now. However Sneaky and Tips both came as adults and he hates both of them. Mostly they just give him a wide berth, but every now and then the fur flies.

I have a worthless, totally lame and slightly crazy horse. I don't ride at all. She is permanently retired and enjoying a lush life of eating grass all day, while I slave away day in and day out to pay the bills.

sigh.

Jezebel hated Callie for a week after we adopted her from the shelter. Now they are buddies. I'm glad. My old cat, Scooter, raised Jezzie and she was very sad when he died. Anyone that says animals don't mourn is an idiot. It used to break my heart hearing her call for him. She doesn't do that now, unless she can't find Callie.

I'm about to pop some DayQuil.
A road trip is not what I need right now, but I'm going anyway.

Beaner, do your chickens ever sneeze?
I have one that sneezed, but I just dusted the coop with a DE / Sevin combo the other day. I'm wondering if she got a lung-full of DE when the other chicken went into hiccuping hysterics last night.

She's not sneezing now.

Please, Lord, don't let her sneeze any more. I can't take all the worry.

Right now I have 4 cats at my house. They are DIL's. All of them are sweet, they are kittens still, about 7 months I think. They purr the instant you pick them up. DH hates that they are here. But, they will leave when DS and DIL get a house. They have to stay outside.
Her other cat she's had since she was 13 is at her mom's house, he is more of an indoor cat, DH gets eaten alive by fleas. Fleas live year round here, as it doesn't freeze much, although the car windows are froze this morning and the grass is pretty white with frost.

Auuughhh. A "mild" case of botulism.

I worry for the future of the human race, I really do.

Okay, my friends, I best get some work done. I will pop in and out today. Don't discuss anything fun without me!

Mine do tend to sneeze if I have recently dusted or put new shavings. I would just keep an eye on it.

I tried to convince my boyfriend to kill of all my extra roosters.........he said only if he could shoot them. I was like, seriously, they are bantam roosters, if you try to shoot them you will blow them to smithereens.

He thinks smithereens is a hilarious word. I guess he is right.

I just want him to cut their throats or chop their heads off. I can skin them and feed them to the dogs then...I think. Never done it before. I just can't bring myself to kill anything. I don't want to overwinter these boys and my dogs would love the food.
