It's local. but long long hours.

And yeah the farm is good news cause It buys me time to get the weanlings to yearlings and grown out. Hopefully better sales results next fall. They are just too small still.

1/2 the pens...why the heck didn't i think of that? I knew there had to be an easy solution to better utilize the roos. Moving next weekend. I'm gonna have to ask for the time off. I'm sure they will laugh, but hopefully they will still grant me the time.

Ok all caught up. Congrats to Belle! Must go do paperwork now on my night "off". LOL! As if.........

Well, I managed to sidetrack my waitin' for the Belle Hatch by dreaming about Giselle Bundchen and Tom Brady. (?!) (Don't ask.)

I am relieved to hear that both Belle and Babe are okay. Now I can go back to bed and hopefully dream more about Tom than Giselle.

I'm due at my Friday morning job at 9:30 (very late today), so I have to hop on the exercise bike and get sweating. Hope to be on BYC later, but I don't know how many extra hours this boss will want me for today.

Behave!

I think I will also create a spiced marmalade version with mulling spices. It was really tasty in some peach butter I made a ahile back....

Behave? What is this word, behave? It is new to me.....

Poor Buffy. I think the wait for Baby was harder on her than it was on me!

All is well. Labor was long, about 20 hours, total. The last few hours were rough and at the very end, I was definately thinking the women who choose epidurals had the right idea. As soon as the doctor told me I was complete and could start pushing, I delivered him 20 seconds later. The doctors didn't get a chance to put their gowns on or get the bed ready, one of the doctors was struggling to put gloves on. The nursing students missed it completely. I was just ready to be done with those contractions and as soon as I heard that I was ready to go, I wasn't waiting for anyone. I asked my husband which of my doctors caught the baby. He said, "The bed."

Here's a picture of my new little man. (Buff, he'll look even cuter in a few weeks, all newborns sort of look like gremlins)

The kids haven't seen him yet. Since we were both up all night, DH needed to go home and sleep yesterday evening. I'm looking forward to see them. I feel excellent, just like I said I would. I don't feel any pain at all. The baby is very healthy. He's eating well and doing great!

Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers.
