Your dogs look so happy Nells! My dogs run between the warm house and the warm garage, peeing on their way.

The young dogs are happy. The old dogs, not so much. Bella has her sweater on.....she goes out and then runs back to the door and paws at it repeatedly until I let her back in, poor thing. Its hard work being half nekkid in the winter. Toby is old and doesn't really care. He is snoring on a bed in the living room currently.

All good snow dogs Michelle! My blond lab likes the snow as long as I'm out in it with him, but as soon as I hit the house he is squooshed up to the French door waiting to be let in.

The basset hound doesn't mind snow but hates the cold so as long as the weather is like this she'll be hiding indoors.

I'm taking lunch, eating pizza and watching an animal rescue show. Ready to bawl my eyes out. When I worked for animal control I had much better "control" of my emotions. Now I just cry at a moment's notice watching these things. I think because when I worked there, I could help out. Now i just watch and cry.

Nells, Animal Planet was what convinced me not to go to veterinary school. I couldn't face the thought of telling people I couldn't help their pets...I used to sit and watch that channel with a box of tissues.

I solved that problem by not watching it anymore...kind of hard without satellite anyway.

Michelle, I can totally picture her trying to stand on one foot.
