Cute baby, Belle! So glad to finally see your baby we've all been waiting to hatch.
My dd has a black cat and he's super duper...ok, his name is Trooper and we call him super duper baby trooper.
Speaking of kids and cooties....drove through the winter weather last night to go to the walk in because my 4 year old has yet another bladder infection. My regular dr. wants to do more invasive testing. I'm so sad for her and scared. Plus we all feel cruddy but it's cold and flu season and guess it's just what it is. And I have my regular dr. apt. today and an echo for my heart tomorrow.
Yesterday, I volunteered a Christmas game at my preschoolers school party. Gotta leave in a bit and do my 2nd graders Christmas party today...using same game. 4 foot cardboard Christmas tree with the trimmings that I made and throwing JUMBO and I do mean JUMBO marshmallows ("snowballs") through holes cut out. Passed out chocolate covered marshmallow snowmen for a "prize" and used a stocking to hold them all.
Secretly hoped the snowfall last night would have closed down all the schools but there were just delays and 1 closing. drats. Oh well, it's a half day and I have a dr. apt. anyway later so it's not like I could have slept all day. oooo sleeping all day, that sounds cozy. That's what my 4 year old is attempting right now. poor Ava.
so my other coop is now finished...now i have to sweep up nails, screws...put in bedding and then try to round up all the chickens, ducks, and the turkey and convince them that they need to stay in that coop and not the smaller one. I'll shut the smaller one up when they all come out and leave the light on in the bigger coop but I have a feeling they are gonna just walk back over to the small one and sit by the door and fuss at me for not letting them in. So then I'll have to carry 10 ducks, 8 chickens, and a turkey over there, toss em in and keep the door shut and lock em in...won't I? no no don't agree with me....tell me they will walk through the snow all by themselves willingly without flapping their wings and dodging me and going in different directions! paaaleeease, have it be easy.
